We value your privacy and this Privacy Policy explains our practices about the way your information is collected and used when you access www.crypto-law.us (the “Site”). Your use of our Site indicates you agree to or consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy please exit the Site.

Personal Information

You are not required to provide any personal information to visit the Site. The personal information we collect about you is that which you voluntarily provide, such as your name and email address if, for example, you sign up to be a part of our email list. We may also send you information related to the subject matter of the Site if you provide your email address. If you would like us to remove you from the email list you may do so by submitting a written request to [email protected]. We do not sell your personal information.

We may use a third party vendor to, for example, facilitate a message with your approval to your government representative.  The third party vendor will only provide your personal information to the person to whom you are requesting the message be sent and also to CryptoLaw.  The third party vendor may have its own privacy policy not controlled by CryptoLaw.  Please read the third party vendor’s privacy policy.

Non-personal Information

We do collect forms of non-personal information.

Examples include:

  • The type of domain from which you accessed the Internet.
  • The date and time you accessed the Site.
  • The IP address from which you accessed the Site.
  • The type of browser software used to view the Site. This information does not contain information about a specific individual. We do not track a particular individual’s use of the Site. Users remain anonymous unless they specifically provide personal information.

We use this information to improve the Site, to gather certain demographic information and to provide information about any advertisements featured or presented on the Site. We may do this through cookies. A cookie is a small data file that websites commonly write to the website visitor’s hard drive when a website is visited. A cookie file contains information that can identify a return visitor each time he or she visits our Site. The data is encrypted for added security. Our Site may use cookies as a way to measure activity and traffic patterns on the Site in order to continually improve the visitor’s experience. We may share non-personal information relating to your use of our Site with vendors providing contractual services to us, such as hosting vendors and advertising service providers.

The Site may contain links to other internet websites.   We are not responsible for your activities or the activities of any such third parties once you navigate away from our Site. This Privacy Policy applies only to our Site, so if you click on a link to another website, you should review the privacy policy of that website before accessing that content.

Privacy Rights in Certain Jurisdictions

Residents of some jurisdictions have certain privacy rights that they may wish to exercise.
